Animal & Veterinary Drugs App Reviews

Doggie drugs

The vet I work for uses this app. He has no complaints, if u wanna learn abbreviation go to school. Since I have been using it, I have been bothering my boss a lot less.

Useless

Useless. This isnt a drug reference in the sense that epocrates, Tarascon, or medscape are. Its simply a condensed versions of the drug information sheet for individual meds. For example, if you look up "aspirin" it doesnt give you the canine or equine dose, you have to read through all of the individual aspirin products and find out which one is marketed for which animal and see what they recommend (if you have enough patience to read the entire thing). It looks like they didnt put any effort into making the information accessible, they merely copied all of the individual drug information and put in in an app. It took me about an hour to delete this app forever. Not to mention that drugs which are the standard of care (like diphenhydramine for allergic reactions) arent even listed. I cant imagine a situation in which this app would be useful (unless Im the developer raking in the $$$).

Pharmacy Technician

The information provided is good, however, there is not enough of it. Many commonly prescribed animal drugs are missing. What I would really like is an app for the Plumb.

Okay

Was looking for an app with animal drugs as well as human drugs used in veterinary medicine.

Wildlife rehab specialist

This is a very limited application. Even the drugs that are FDA approved and therefore included, are not very complete. I have been very disappointed and found it useful only once. Im glad I only paid $.99 for it.

Finally a new release!

Took a while but at least the list of drugs improved significantly.
